By revisions, we mean the number of times a Newswire story has been edited and saved.

The number of revisions is retrieved from the story’s metadata.

Example of revisions in a Newswire story

Note that we don’t track versions of publisher stories!

We don't automatically return to a story to see if changes have been made. This can only happen in the event that the story is "rediscovered" in a new social media post or RSS stream.
